Enhanced Medical Benefits for 2024:

• Behavioral and mental health covered at 100% after deductible. For both the Health Savings Plan and the Total Health PPO Plan, in-network behavioral, mental health and substance abuse benefits will be covered at 100% after you meet your deductible.
• Health Savings Plan (HSP) and Total Health PPO Plan design changes. You’ll see a few changes to the plans’ deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums. And if you’re enrolled in the HSP, per the IRS, you can contribute more to your Health Savings Account: up to $4,150 if you have individual coverage, and $8,300 if you cover dependents.

As a new employee with Sandia, you have 31 days to make your benefit elections from your date of hire. Take the opportunity to review your benefit options during this time.

How to Enroll:

1. Visit inside.sandia.gov from a Sandia computer
2. Click on HR Self Service (under Tools on left side)
3. Click on the Onboarding Box
4. Select Benefits and Retirement Tile
5. Select Benefit Details on left
6. Select Benefits Enrollment Tile
7. Click on “select” or “re-elect” on the right to start or resume your benefit elections
8. Select Edit for each benefit selection
9. Make sure to hit Submit

Enrollment for Voluntary Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan and Sandia Extras are completed on external sites.

Note that you will need Social Security Number and date of birth to enroll dependents.
