Enhanced Medical Benefits for 2025
- Health Savings Plan (HSP) – The plan deductible and out-of-pocket maximums amounts have increased. And if you’re enrolled in the HSP, per the IRS, you can contribute to your Heath Savings Account (HSA) the following: up to $4300 if you have individual coverage, and up to $8,550 if you cover dependents.
- A maximum lifetime benefit per Covered Member for infertility treatments has increased to $45,000.00.
As a new employee with Sandia, you have 31 days to make your benefit elections from your date of hire. Take the opportunity to review your benefit options during this time.

How to Enroll:
- Visit inside.sandia.govOpens external site in a new tab from a Sandia computer
- Click on HR Self Service (under Tools on left side)
- Click on the Onboarding Box
- Select Benefits and Retirement Tile
- Select Benefit Details on left
- Select Benefits Enrollment Tile
- Click on “select” or “re-elect” on the right to start or resume your benefit elections
- Select Edit for each benefit selection
- Make sure to hit Submit

Enrollment for Voluntary Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan and Sandia Extras are completed on external sites.
Note that you will need Social Security Number and date of birth to enroll dependents.
